I still really have no idea what on earth went on the last few days- as you can see from Sophies blog entry things haven't been incredibly clear and there hasn't been much explanation, as far as I can tell she and her family felt it was dangerous to go to Cambodia in particular and were not happy for her to go...
I can't believe I'm going to Asia alone but its far better than not going- if I hadn't have gone I'd be even more resentful
I have managed to book myself on a tour even though it was so last minute- was a tense few days while I waited to see if they would accept my late request... unfortunately I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing in Bangkok on the 24/25th Dec as it was far to late to book anything... but I'm just hoping there will be something I can organise when I get out there...
I did have a look at the foreign office pages- it was quite amusing to see that Cambodia was on the same threat level as England!!
The past few days I have spent in Melbourne visiting my relatives- they have been very supportive which has been great :)
